Ideai is a Cape Town studio that turns business problems into software that ships, runs and pays for itself. We work in narrow, deep slices — the smallest workable thing in front of real users, fast — and we stay on to operate what we build.
Why this studio exists.
We started Ideai in 2025 after years of watching good ideas die in roadmaps, slide decks and quarter-long discovery phases. The work we cared about was always the same: the small, sharp thing that quietly removes a week of admin or unblocks a customer journey. So we built a studio around that — and nothing else.

A demo that ships nothing is worth less than a small, ugly thing that already saves someone an afternoon.

We pick the technology a competent person can take over in two years. The interesting work is elsewhere.

Direct contact with the people doing the work. No five-person account team between you and a decision.

If we agree to ship it, we agree to operate it. If it breaks at midnight, that's still our problem.
