Faktuur — speak the job, send the proposal.

A voice-first tool for people who win work in the field, not behind a desk. Describe the job out loud and Faktuur turns it into a brief, a proposal, a quotation and an invoice — the whole paperwork chain, from one spoken prompt.

Faktuur — voice-to-proposal mobile app
The problem

The work is won on site. The paperwork isn't.

For tradespeople and small service businesses, the hard part isn't the job — it's everything around it. You see the work, you talk the client through it, and then you go home and start typing: a brief, a proposal, a quote, and eventually an invoice. Each one re-keys the same details, and every step between "yes, in principle" and "paid" is a chance for the job to stall or slip away.

We wanted the person who understands the job to be able to start the whole chain on the spot, just by describing it.

What we built

One spoken prompt. The whole chain.

Faktuur takes a single voice prompt and carries it all the way from idea to paid. You describe the job out loud, and the app drives each stage:

  1. Speak — describe the job into your phone, in plain language.
  2. Brief — Whisper transcribes it and AI turns the description into a structured project brief.
  3. Propose — the brief becomes a polished project proposal, emailed to the customer.
  4. Quote — when the customer accepts, the proposal converts into a formal quotation.
  5. Invoice — once they agree the quote, it becomes an invoice, ready to send and get paid.

Around that pipeline, Faktuur is a complete business tool: products and services with per-unit pricing, customer management, a revenue dashboard, multi-tenant merchant accounts, Paystack payments, and magic-link or Google sign-in.

Under the hood it's a Flutter mobile app, a Go (Fiber) API, and an Angular PWA, with a self-hosted Whisper speech-to-text service — and OpenAI and on-device transcription as fallbacks, so dictation keeps working wherever the signal doesn't.

How fast

A working product, in days.

The first usable version — voice in, AI brief and proposal out — was standing up and running within days. From there the full pipeline came together over the following week: acceptance to quotation to invoice, payments, the dashboard, the Flutter app, the Go API and the PWA.

That's the whole point of how the studio works. Pairing people with AI, we go from idea to a thing you can actually use in days — not quarters — and then keep shipping.

Outcome

Voice → proposal → paidOne prompt, the whole quote-to-cash chain

Winning and billing a job no longer means an evening of re-typing. A spoken description becomes a brief, a proposal lands in the customer's inbox, and acceptance flows straight through to quotation and invoice — so the paperwork keeps pace with the work instead of trailing days behind it.
